Imam Hussein holy shrine eulogizes the late Hussainyan poet Kadhim Mendhur El-Kerbala'i, on the thirty nineth annual commemoration of his death

The Secretariat-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine has held a eulogistic ceremony upon the late Hussainyan poet Kadhim Mendhur El-Kerbala'i, (May Allah rest him in peace) who spent his whole life serving Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) by writing poems about him and his tragedy. He remained as a great legend in the world of poetry as a school where many poets till this moment learn from such a fountain of knowledge.the ceremony was inaugurated with reciting verses of Noble Quran, and then a speech of the Secretariat-General delivered by Sayed Sa'ad Ed-Deen El-Benna' in which he mentioned some glimpses of the late Kadhim's life.Haj Ali Kadhim Mendhur, the head of the Islamic Religious Ensemble said that such a ceremony held within the program of eulogizing all the Imam Hussein poets.He also clarified that the ceremony included several activities such as praising poems and a great performance by the Islamic Religious Ensemble recited some of the most common poems of Haj Kadhim's.By: Mostafa Mulla HethalTranslated by: Mohammed Jasim
