El-Safi, "Some legations are legal fraud, & qualified officials should be appointed at the Iraqi Embassies"

July 19, 2013. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the supreme religious authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sayed Ahmed El-Safi,has called for equalizing supplying power among the Iraqi Provinces, notifying that there is a disparity in supplying power among the provinces which is completely different from the supplying center of power which provides equally. His eminence mentioned that the legations sent by the Iraqi government especially that involve with the nature of the legation and the officials that represent Iraq, in addition to the advantage of the country in which some of those are done for tourism, where members of the legations have no relation with the representation or the aim should be obtained. He considered such a process as a legal fraud which has to be eliminated, because the member who is supposed to represent his country and remains empty-handed would reflect a bad image about his country, and such a case is religiously and nationally unacceptable. He also mentioned that Iraq should be open to the rest of the world in order to deliver the great image of it as it really is. His eminence pointed out that there are some officials at the Iraqi Embassy in another country treating the Iraqi communities cruelly and haughtily without any reason; describing them as unqualified due to their immoral acts they hide behind in order to cover unawareness of the demands of the Iraqi communities by suspending issuing visas to enter Iraq or defaming Iraqis' reputation. Such a very important issue requires to be pondered over and those in authority should appoint officials at the embassy who can truly represent Iraq, in order to reflect the best appearance of it scientifically, administratively and vocationally.
