Beginning of the activities of the Imam Hussein Scout Organization in Remadhan month

The activities of the Imam Hussein Scout Organization have begun in Remadhan Month, performed by youths age 14 – 16 years old, for two months beginning from Remadhan month according to a schedule laid out by the board of the Imam Hussein holy shrine. The Commissioner-General of the Imam Hussein Scout Organization Sayed Thul Fiqar Kadhim Hussein stated that the program includes many activities such as courses in general culture, ethics, jurisprudential and ideological aspects, sports and art education, in addition to developing the talented people. He also mentioned that there are approximately 450 scout members had performed the activities. Besides, weekly activities include performing pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) and offering a congregational prayer led by Sheikh Abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i. It's been mentioned that that trial was the first held in Kerbala Province according to a plan laid out in order to hold such activities in the other Iraqi provinces also.By: Mostafa Mula Hethal Translated by: Mohammed Jasim
