The Secretariat-General of the El-Abbas holy shrine has inaugurated Alkafeel Publishing & Distribution House as one of the activities of the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival in a great presence of the quests and delegations of the festival.It has been inaugurated with reciting verses of Noble Quran, the a speech delivered by the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine Sheikh Abdul Mehdi EL-Kerbala'i, in which he thanked the audience for such a wondrous interaction and mentioned everything should be done within the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. His eminence mentioned that what passed during the X-regime didn't take care of the holy shrines, but nowadays, we fulfilled incomparable advances, and all that occurred with the divine provision.Sayed Ahmed El-Safi, the Secretary-General of the El-Abbas holy shrine delivered a speech in which he mentioned that we had to spare no efforts in development in order to make each year equals ten years in order to keep pace with the other world.El-Safi, also mentioned that Iraq is a civilized country, and it actually established a great culture whether it is in Baghdad, Nejaf, Babylon, Kerbala or in the other provinces. Also, said further that the best should be sought by constructing all the facilities necessary for the pilgrims.The head of the Shiite Endowment Bureau Sayed Salih El-Haideri, delivered a speech in which he praised the magnificent efforts made by the El-Abbas holy shrine by holding such activities in addition to the cultural and educational fields. He also emphasized the necessity of prioritizing a specialized committee in order to supervise the processes of the Alkafeel Publishing & Distribution House.Mr. Maithem El-Zaidi, the head of the Alkafeel Publishing & Distribution House and a member of the board of the Imam Hussein holy shrine mentioned that Alkafeel Publishing & Distribution House is a cultural and educational project and not industrial.Dr. Klawt Hat Maier, the manager of the economic office at the German Embassy delivered a speech in which he mentioned that during the historical movement of publishing in the Western and Islamic worlds especially in Iraq where the first publishing press was established in Kadhumya-Baghdad, Babylon and Kerbala Provinces which means that Shiite people were the first whom created the art of publishing.He also expressed his pleasure being in Kerbala and participating in the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival.It has been mentioned that some poems were delivered by remarkable poets.
