Imam Hussein holy shrine holds a mourning ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom of the Imam Ali El-Hadi (p.b.u.h)

The Secretariat-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine held a mourning ceremony on the tragic occasion of the martyrdom of the Imam Ali El-Hadi (p.b.u.h), the tenth Imam of Ahlulbait (peace be upon them). Imam Ali-El-Hadi was the greatest scholar and righteous and pious character, the best example in moral, asceticism and worshipping. He refused injustice and tyranny, and was the illuminator of sciences, work and obligation.Imam Ali El-Hadi was forced to leave Medina, the city of his grandfather Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) and to live in Samerra' City – Iraq, until he was martyred with poison and interred there during the regime of El-Mu'taz El-Abbasi in 254 A.H.His eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi El-Kerbala'i, and the heads of the departments participated in the ceremony by reciting poems about the Imam and his grievance.
