May 1, 2013, Second part of the Friday sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the supreme religious authority and the preacher of the Friday sermon in Kerbala city, his Eminence Shaikh Abdul Mahdi El-Kerbala'i mentioned that the candidates who were elected are now seeking sensitive positions in power, and they have to adopt the standards and fundamentals to operate on what serves Iraqi people considerately. Some of the necessities must be available are integrity, qualification, experience and ability to perform properly and offer any possible services to the people they expect to receive. His eminence also held the blocs elected responsible for forming a qualified council and able to make successful relations with the local nationals. He also confirmed that the most important element to have the governorate council successful is to have a great local government, which is able to maintain firm relations with the Ministries of the Federal Government, and to have a cooperative governorate council interacting well with each other in order to lay plans, policies and manage the city in a better way possible.His eminence condemned the very evil act of disinterring the corps of one of the greatest companions of the Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) namely Hijri Bin Udai, after destroying his holy windowed enclosure in Syria by the disbelievers so-called Muslims. He also mentioned that Islam forbids disinterring and dead ones. His eminence concluded by advising the security forces to remain aloof, and without reactions might complicate the status quo. The government should reconsider the demands of people without being lenient with a certain class of the society, and neglectful to the others. By: Mohammed Jasim
