The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine his eminence Shaik Abdul Mahdy EL-Kerbala'I stated that the golden pieces have been completely attached to the new holy windowed cage of the tomb of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h). The technical personnel are currently finalizing the last touches. His eminence also stated that unveiling the new holy windowed cage would be on Tuesday March 5, 2013 Within a stately ceremony. It's been mentioned that the new holy windowed cage weighs approximately 12 tons consisted of 118,650 kg of pure gold, 4600 kg of silver, 5350 kg of wood for the structure, 700 km of wood slabs, 250 kg of iron joints, 200 kg steel belts, 700 kg of decorative inner wood in addition to the 100 kg of other iron material. It's been inscribed with verses of the noble Quran on the outer surface, and on the inner surface, some Prophetic speeches about Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) have been inscribed and some speeches about the trait of performing the pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) by Imam EL-Sadiq (p.b.u.h).
