Within the goals the Imam Hussein holy shrine pursues to promulgate the principles of the Husseinian revolution, the Imam Hussein holy shrine participated in Ashura Second Annual Festival held by Kerbala poets league at Kerbala university. The festival aims at promulgating the goals of the revolution of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h), it also included poems about Ahlulbait (the family of the Prophet Mohammed) and the companions martyred in EL-Taf battle (p.b.u.t) recited by poets.It's been mentioned that the youth care center of the Imam Hussein holy shrine has been coordinating with the Iraqi universities in order to hold festivals and educational symposiums that aim at promulgating the Islamic awareness and Husseinian education.
