Imam Hussein holy shrine commemorates the Islamic day of eradicating violence against women

Nowadays, we are living the days of Sufar month (the following month after Moharram). Sufar, the grievous tragedies and anguishes afflicted over the family of the greatest prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) after Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) had been martyred. Those agonizing days the Lady Zainab, the sister of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.t) suffered from by being driven with women and children as captives from Kerbala city in Iraq all the way walking to EL-Sham city in Syria.Regarding the importance of such a tragedy in the Islamic history; the department of the religious affairs of the Imam Hussein holy shrine held a festival of supporting Lady Zainab (p.b.u.h), the daughter of Imam Ali (p.b.u.h) on the day of eradication violence against women because what the lady Zainab (p.b.u.h) was exposed to in EL-Taf fierce battle bore all the meanings of wrong, agony and oppression. The festival included the positive means for social upbringing, use of alternatives to violence, and constructive development of social behavior by media, and activate the role of the governmental & non-governmental organizations in order to limit such a negative phenomenon.Supporting such a humanitarian issue; the first day of Sufar's been adopted as an Islamic day of eradicating violence against women, and that's for sincerely promulgating the Mohammedian holy message which refers to the loft rank of what women have according to the Islamic legislations; that rank which is incomparable in all cultures and societies.
