In the Ashoora' first annual conference held in Turkey-Istanbul; His Eminence Sayed EL-Safi delivered a speech in which he emphasized reading history very well to benefit and to take a great lesson from it in order to strengthen the intimate kinship and unity. He also mentioned that we should get to know the objectives raised by the two sides the Good and the antagonistic on the tenth of Ashoora' month. We should also realized the principles of intellect, ideology, sociology and politics the two sides based on. His Eminence also said that, (The day of Ashoora' is not distinctive with Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) although he was the most active element of the tragedy, but the Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) is directly related to it as it had been mentioned in authentic narrations that manifested the historical depth of the EL-Taf fierce battle". His Eminence further added that all Muslims should consider Ashoora' day the symbol for our unity and supporting each other. He also said, "I call Muslims for performing pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h). so, as the Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) gathers us; Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) gathers us too because he is the extent and the beloved grandson of the Prophet (p.b.u.h)".
