Replacement of the banner of the Imam Hussein holy shrine dome

On the occasion of Moharram Month (first month of the Hijra year) A.D. As it's annually conventional in the Imam Hussein holy shrine; replacing the red banner with a black one on the first day of Moharram Month. It's indicating the beginning of the sorrow month and condolence rites by which it's consoling the Prophet Mohammed and the infallible Imams (p.b.u.t) for AL-Taf fierce battle in which Imam Hussein, some of his family members and his followers had been martyred. Replacing the banner is done according to special rites performed in a ceremony held inside the Imam Hussein holy shrine before officials from the EL-Hussein and EL-Abbas holy shrines, representatives of the Shiite entailment bureau and a crowd of people.
