Imam Zain Al-Abidin (Peace Be Upon Him) Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the opening of the first remote medical consultation clinic, in cooperation and coordination with Al-Resalah Foundation, with the aim of providing specialized medical and consultative services to patients inside Iraq, as well as leveraging international medical expertise to examine critical and complex cases.

The consultant specialist physician at the clinic, Dr. Muhammad Taher, stated that: "The launch of this clinic represents a new specialized step in the field of telemedicine services in Iraq, operating from within Imam Zain Al-Abidin (Peace Be Upon Him) Hospital in holy Karbala, as part of a joint collaboration between Al-Resalah Foundation and the medical institutions of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine."

He explained that: "This initiative comes as a continuation of the medical team's efforts to provide the best healthcare services and care, having previously established similar consultation clinics and telemedicine activities in several regions across the world, including Gaza and Lebanon."

He added that: "This clinic marks the first phase in a series of consultative projects currently being prepared for launch, to be followed by steps for field presence in Iraq to deliver advanced surgical interventions and services, particularly for intractable cases related to limb injuries and complex fractures."

The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues, through its health institutions, to employ modern technologies and virtual clinics to expand the scope of medical services and draw upon international expertise and talents, thereby facilitating access to specialized consultations for patients, particularly those with critical and complex conditions.
