As part of the activities organized by the Advisory for Quranic Affairs at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and hosted by the International Quranic Reporting Center (Qom Branch), with the participation of representatives from holy shrines, sanctuaries, and Quranic institutions in Iraq, the specialized program for Quranic contemplation continued its field schedule in the holy city of Qom with a scientific visit to Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) University.
The delegation included Sheikh Hassan Al-Mansouri, Advisor for Quranic Affairs, along with an elite group of the course's professors and participants, and they were received by the President of the University, His Eminence Sheikh Yasser Al-Hajji.
The media envoy of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine reported that: "The meeting witnessed a review of the journey of Quranic work at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and its stages of development, leading up to the launch of qualitative Quranic projects, foremost of which is the Quranic Contemplation Project, which aims to elevate the level of understanding of Quranic texts and enhance awareness of their meanings and contents."
He added that: "The University President welcomed the visiting delegation and accompanied them on a tour inside the university halls, during which the participants were briefed on the reality of education, postgraduate study tracks, and specialized academic research, in addition to the university's interest in sponsoring students who are memorizers and reciters."
The visit included a Quranic recitation by the reciter Haidar Al-Khuzai, representative of the National Center for Quranic Sciences, followed by a speech by the representative of the Secretariat of the Grand Kufa Mosque, Sayyid Adil Al-Yasiri, in which he praised the efforts of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in organizing this specialized course, stressing the importance of these programs in empowering Iraqi Quranic cadres, developing their capabilities, and enhancing their presence in international scientific centers.
