Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) University for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, is continuing its preparations to host the 5th WANA International Scientific Conference. Scheduled to take place on December 17–18, 2026, the event will feature the participation of researchers, physicians, and specialists from within Iraq and abroad to examine the latest advancements and research across relevant medical fields.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the university noted that "the conference's preparatory committee is holding ongoing meetings to review the staging phases, coordination mechanisms, and joint efforts among the committees."
The statement added that "the conference aims to foster the exchange of scientific expertise among researchers, physicians, and specialists, as well as to deliberate on recent research developments in relevant medical domains, thereby enhancing opportunities for scientific and academic cooperation among participants."
The organization of this conference aligns with the ongoing commitment of Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) University for Women at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to advance scientific research, cultivate an academic environment conducive to knowledge sharing, and strengthen collaboration between medical and research institutions both locally and internationally.
