Noor Al-Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) Institute, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in Karbala, has announced the opening of registration for blind and visually impaired students for the new academic year. The offer applies to all ages and both genders as part of a fully supported, cost-free educational program funded by the Holy Shrine.
According to a statement obtained by the (Official Website), the Institute stated that "opening registration comes within the framework of supporting blind and visually impaired students, developing their talents, and honing their abilities. This contributes to qualifying them scientifically and intellectually, enabling them to integrate into society and prepare to enter the labor market."
It added that "the Institute receives registration applications by visiting the administration during official working hours to review the admission and registration terms and regulations, or by calling the number (07717964640)."
The statement further explained that "the educational programs cover different age groups and academic levels, welcoming children aged (5–6) years, while primary education includes students aged (6–12) years, alongside an accelerated learning program for the (12–22) age group, and a literacy program for ages (15–55) years."
This initiative forms part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's ongoing efforts to deliver educational and cultural care to the blind and visually impaired through specialized staff, while cultivating a suitable educational and intellectual environment that helps foster their potential and boost their participation in society.
