Al-Hadi Neuromuscular Center, affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, opened a respiratory physical therapy unit within its rehabilitation department. The unit utilizes the latest specialized rehabilitation techniques and methods based on modern scientific research to help patients improve their breathing quality and daily life.
The supervisor of the rehabilitation department at the center, Salim Samuel Ghatas, stated in a statement obtained by the (Official Website) that "Al-Hadi Neuromuscular Center at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine opened this qualitative and new unit to serve as a pivotal addition to the center's rehabilitation services. It relies on the latest equipment and programs reached by scientific research, thereby keeping pace with patients' expectations and health needs."
He explained that "the opening of the unit came in response to the growing and urgent demand from patients and their families, and due to the scarcity of this specialty in other health centers, or its limitation in some places to old, traditional methods that do not meet the modern requirements of advanced medical care."
He added that "the unit primarily targets patients with neuromuscular disorders who suffer from chest and respiratory problems, in addition to those with direct respiratory conditions," noting that "the unit's team works on applying integrated rehabilitation programs that include draining chest secretions and improving inhalation and exhalation efficiency, thereby enhancing overall respiratory functions and granting the patient a more comfortable life."
