The Secretary-General of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, confirmed that the inauguration of the female students' dormitory building at Warith al-Anbiya University represents a new achievement among the construction, rebuilding, and development projects adopted by the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
During a speech, the Secretary-General stated that "this project has many benefits and features in terms of ensuring safety, providing psychological comfort, and creating an academic atmosphere for female students, which will also motivate students toward creativity, excellence, and scientific distinction."
He added that "this project is one of the major dormitory projects nationwide, offering all domestic amenities, comfort services, and study facilities."
He explained that "had it not been for the parental care and guidance of His Eminence, the follow-up by the leadership and engineering staff of Warith al-Anbiya University, and the significant contribution of the executing company, this major project would not have been completed."
He pointed out that "Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, along with the university presidency, will have additional new projects, God willing, because the giving of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is unlimited and unceasing, God willing," noting that "dormitory projects aim to care for our dear students, especially those coming from outside this governorate."
He urged "adherence, discipline, and the implementation of religious instructions," emphasizing that "these are among the most essential directives emphasized by the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through commitment to chastity, modesty, performing prayers, and reciting the Quran, as well as caring for and preserving this great achievement and its property."
He stated that "according to engineering indicators, the capacity of this project will reach 600 female students, distributed across 160 rooms equipped with all domestic services, continuous electricity, as well as means of transportation."
He noted that some departments will be outside this specific group belonging to Warith al-Anbiya University, provided at nominal fees compared to the service, the environment, and the private sector, pointing out that "Imam Hussain Holy Shrine does not look at this matter financially, except to cover some service expenses for the complex."
