Imam Hussain Specialized Medical Complex, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the launch of a medical and service initiative providing a 50% discount on consultations and examinations across a number of its departments, coinciding with the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) and his grandson, Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), on Monday, August 31.
The Director of the Specialized Medical Complex, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Rahman Habib Al-Janabi, stated in an interview with the official website that "the complex, under the patronage of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, announced the launch of the initiative providing a 50% discount, aimed at easing economic burdens on noble families and supporting citizens, as well as transforming religious occasions into field work stations sponsored by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to serve the community."
He explained that "the discount covers specialized clinic consultations, including ophthalmology, internal medicine, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), gynecology, and nutrition, in addition to sonar services, the nursing clinic, and vision examinations."
He added that "the initiative also includes special discounts on pharmacy and laboratory services, as well as medical eye glasses prices," noting that "the complex has mobilized its medical, nursing, and administrative staff to receive visitors and coordinate the smooth delivery of services, ensuring the provision of the highest standards of healthcare."
This initiative comes as part of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's dedication to commemorating religious occasions by launching humanitarian and service initiatives across its healthcare institutions, embodying its approach to fostering social solidarity and serving the community, and confirming the ongoing commitment of its medical facilities to offer healthcare services to citizens and support various segments of society to alleviate their burdens.
