Al-Sibtayn Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders, affiliated with the Al-Sibtayn Foundation for Psychiatry, Autism, and Community Rehabilitation at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, achieved qualitative results in delivering specialized and rehabilitative services for children during the first half of the current year through thousands of individual, advisory, and assessment sessions.
The Director of the Academy, Dr. Shadha Al-Awadi, stated in an interview with the official website that "statistics for the services provided during the period extending from January until the end of June of the current year showed the delivery of 11,803 individual sessions for children, as well as 700 advisory sessions, and the conduct of 78 IQ tests."
She added that "these services fall within the specialized programs offered by the academy for children suffering from autism and developmental disorders, which rely on rehabilitation and training plans that take into account the needs of each child, contributing to developing their skills and enhancing their abilities."
She explained that "the sessions and services provided cover specialized, assessment, and advisory aspects, allowing the relevant staff to follow up on the children's needs and develop appropriate programs for each case, alongside offering the necessary support and guidance to their families."
She emphasized that "the academy continues to provide its specialized services through professional staff and rehabilitation programs aimed at supporting children and their families, as well as enhancing their chances of development and integration into society."
These services come as part of the efforts of the Al-Sibtayn Foundation in the field of autism, developmental disorders, and community rehabilitation by offering specialized programs that contribute to supporting children, developing their capabilities, and providing the necessary support to their families.
