Comprehensive Medical, Guidance, and Technological Services: Al-Zahraa University for Women Affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Announces the Volume of Services Provided During the Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) University for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the volume of services rendered as part of its operational strategy for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), through a network of medical, educational, service, and technological stations.

The President of the University, Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, stated in an interview with the official website that Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) University for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, disclosed the scope of healthcare and support services provided under its dedicated plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), spanning multiple medical, educational, service, and technological stations.

She clarified that the medical detachment operated continuously over a period of 7 days, 24 hours a day, receiving more than 5,000 male and female pilgrims from various nations, delivering an integrated package of health services under the supervision of a consultant physician and specialized medical personnel.

She added that the medical detachment encompassed pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, and injection departments, alongside equipping the center with advanced medical devices—including electrocardiogram (ECG) machines and modern physical therapy equipment—in addition to blood type testing and assigning an ambulance to transport critical cases to hospitals when necessary.

She continued noting that the educational orientation and guidance station functioned across 4 days, operating 9 hours daily, and utilized 240 guidance forms, while the program also featured the delivery of instructional lectures.

She further pointed out that the services were not limited to the medical and educational spheres, but also extended to a service booth distributing refreshments to female pilgrims, as well as a technology corner offering various supportive technical services, as part of its ongoing efforts to elevate the quality of assistance provided during the multi-million pilgrimage.

Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) University affirms that these endeavors align with the directives of the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, which aim to extend the highest standard of services to pilgrims and harness human and technical capabilities to ensure the success of the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
