Specialized Cardiac Care for Heart Patients: Safeer Imam Hussain Specialist Hospital Opens Intensive Care Units to Serve Arbaeen Pilgrims

Safeer Imam Hussain Specialist Surgical Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the opening of a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as part of its specialized medical plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), aiming to provide specialized healthcare for critical cases.

In an official statement obtained by the (Official Website), the hospital stated that "Safeer Imam Hussain Specialist Surgical Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the opening of a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as part of its specialized medical plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), to deliver specialized healthcare for critical cases."

It clarified that "the Coronary Care Unit receives patients suffering from heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, heart attacks, chest pain, and unstable angina, as well as heart rhythm disorders and arrhythmias, alongside delivering the necessary medical care for critical conditions."

The statement added that "the hospital provides first aid and specialized therapies under the supervision of medical and nursing teams specializing in cardiology, while cases requiring advanced care or additional therapeutic interventions are transferred to specialized centers and hospitals following necessary examinations and initial treatment."

It emphasized that "the opening of these units falls under the medical preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, aimed at enhancing the hospital's readiness to manage various medical and emergency cases while delivering the highest quality health services to pilgrims."
