More Than (8,000) Meals Served Daily: Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Continues Providing Services to Pilgrims Arriving via the Ain Al-Tamr Route West of Karbala

The staff of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, under the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, and supervised by the Office of Planning and General Follow-up, continue providing services to pilgrims through the shrine's service procession in the Al-Tar area, located along the road linking Ain Al-Tamr District with the center of Karbala. The initiative is part of the shrine's service plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

Speaking to the official website, Director of the Office of Planning and General Follow-up, Sayyid Maytham Abdul Hussain, said, "Under the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, and under the supervision of the Office of Planning and General Follow-up, the staff of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continue providing services to pilgrims through the shrine's service procession in the Al-Tar area, located along the road linking Ain Al-Tamr District with the center of Karbala, as part of the service plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)."

He explained that "the service procession operates around the clock, providing its services to pilgrims (24) hours a day through an integrated system that includes meals, beverages, accommodation, and overnight lodging, in addition to health and medical services, helping meet the needs of pilgrims traveling to the holy city of Karbala."

He added that "the service procession provides between (7,000) and (8,000) meals daily, while the distribution of water, juices, fruit, and other beverages continues around the clock, alongside uninterrupted logistical and medical services."

He stressed that "these efforts reflect Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's commitment to providing the best possible services to the visitors of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) by mobilizing all available human and logistical resources to ensure the success of the Arbaeen pilgrimage."

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues implementing its comprehensive Arbaeen service plan by mobilizing its human, technical, and engineering capabilities to provide the highest level of services to pilgrims, ensuring that the pilgrimage rituals are performed in a safe and comfortable environment.
