Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa Pilgrims City, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the completion of all service and security preparations to receive pilgrims arriving and departing through the Zurbatiyah border crossing during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (PBUH).

Speaking to the official website, the Director of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa Pilgrims City, Anwar Al-Mousawi, said, "The city's technical and engineering staff have completed the preparation of four spacious halls equipped with all necessary facilities to serve as rest and accommodation areas for pilgrims arriving through the Zurbatiyah border crossing."

He explained that "the halls have been furnished with all essential supplies, including bedding, blankets, cooling systems, and modern air coolers, to ensure the highest levels of comfort for pilgrims amid the high temperatures, making the facilities fully ready for service."

He added that "the city's efforts are not limited to serving pilgrims alone but also include hosting the security forces stationed at the Zurbatiyah border crossing to help secure the Arbaeen pilgrimage." He noted that "the services also include providing (3) main meals daily for pilgrims, in addition to the continuous distribution of cold water, juices, and cake around the clock."

The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues implementing its comprehensive Arbaeen plan by mobilizing all of its service, medical, engineering, organizational, and media departments and institutions, while deploying its human and logistical resources along the various routes leading to the holy city of Karbala and at border crossings. The effort aims to provide the best possible services for pilgrims arriving from within Iraq and abroad, helping facilitate the pilgrimage and ensuring the occasion is observed in a safe and well-organized environment.
