Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Continues Serving Arbaeen Pilgrims in Dhi Qar

The staff of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continue providing a wide range of services to the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (PBUH) traveling to the holy city of Karbala through Dhi Qar Province, under the direct guidance of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, with the aim of ensuring a suitable and comfortable environment for pilgrims.

Speaking to the official website, Sheikh Hussein Ali Al-Askari, head of the Imam Hussain Complex and supervisor of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's procession in Dhi Qar, said, "Under the direction of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, the staff of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's procession continue providing a variety of services in Dhi Qar Province to the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (PBUH) heading toward the holy city of Karbala, with the aim of ensuring their comfort and facilitating their journey." He noted that "the procession has continued providing its services to Arbaeen pilgrims in the province for the third consecutive year."

He explained that "the procession includes several key service stations, including a dedicated lost-and-found guidance station, separate religious inquiry stations for men and women, as well as medical support through two medical units staffed and equipped to handle various cases."

He added that "the site also features a photo exhibition highlighting the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Hawza who responded to the Fatwa of “Al-Jihad Al-Kafa'i”, in addition to providing food and beverages, along with air-conditioned and fully equipped rest areas to ensure the comfort of pilgrims."

Through these integrated service initiatives, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine seeks to support the movement of pilgrims along the main routes by providing all the logistical, religious, and healthcare services necessary to ensure a safe and smooth journey to the holy city of Karbala.
