Al-Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Women's Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced its selection as one of the hospitals qualified to implement reproductive health programs in Iraq, reflecting confidence in the hospital's medical services and organizational capabilities.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the hospital said, "Al-Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Women's Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has been selected among the hospitals qualified to implement reproductive health programs in Iraq, in a step that reflects confidence in the level of medical services and organizational capabilities provided by the hospital."
The statement explained that "the selection followed a field visit conducted by a high-level delegation from the Public Health Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, accompanied by a team from the Public Health Department of the Karbala Health Directorate."
It added that "the delegation reviewed the hospital's medical and organizational capabilities, its healthcare delivery mechanisms, particularly in the field of maternal and child care, and discussed the requirements for implementing reproductive health programs in accordance with approved national standards."
The hospital affirmed that "its selection forms part of national efforts aimed at strengthening reproductive health services and improving the quality of healthcare provided to women and children, in line with the standards adopted by the Ministry of Health. It also reflects the hospital's medical and administrative competence, which qualifies it to implement these healthcare programs."
