Al-Ghaybah Shrine Gardens Project Progresses in Babylon

The Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the continuation of work on the Al-Ghaybah Shrine Gardens project in Babylon Governorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop religious sites and enhance their service and aesthetic environment to provide greater comfort for visitors.

In a statement obtained by the official website, the department said that "the engineering and technical staff of the Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continue implementing the project at an accelerated pace in accordance with the approved plans and in line with the urban development and service vision aimed at upgrading religious sites and providing a suitable environment for visitors."

The statement explained that "the project is one of the key initiatives designed to enhance the site's aesthetic and service aspects through the creation of green spaces and public gardens that provide a comfortable atmosphere and recreational space for Iraqi families."

It added that "the project includes planting a variety of environmentally and health-oriented trees and plants, as well as constructing fountains, contributing to an improved urban landscape and creating a natural environment for visitors."

The department noted that "these efforts reflect the mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to support the environmental sector, improve infrastructure and public services, and expand green spaces across various Iraqi governorates for the benefit of both citizens and visitors."

The Al-Ghaybah Shrine Gardens project is part of a series of urban development and service projects implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine across several Iraqi governorates to develop and rehabilitate religious sites while creating an integrated environment for visitors.
