The Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts, affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, received a large number of visitors throughout the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
The head of the museum department, Mr. Nafeh Al-Moussawi, said that the museum’s exhibition halls experienced a continuous influx of visitors interested in exploring its collection of artifacts and learning about their historical and cultural significance.
He explained that the museum offers visitors detailed information about the exhibited items, contributing to greater awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and highlighting the efforts made to document, conserve, and maintain these treasures in accordance with recognized museum standards.
Al-Moussawi added that the museum aims to make use of religious occasions and major pilgrimage seasons to advance its cultural and educational mission, providing visitors with the opportunity to discover valuable heritage collections that reflect the richness and depth of the region’s historical and civilizational legacy.
