Free Rehabilitation Initiative Launched by Imam Al-Hadi Center Ahead of Eid al-Adha

The Imam Al-Hadi Center for Muscular and Neurological Disorders, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the launch of the “Sanad wa Ataa” (“Support and Giving”) initiative to provide free medical rehabilitation and treatment services to citizens, on the occasion of the Marriage of the Two Lights and the approaching Eid al-Adha.

Director of the center, Dr.Saleh Al-Jabri, said in a statement to the official website that “the Imam Al-Hadi Center for Muscular and Neurological Disorders, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announces the launch of the ‘Sanad wa Ataa’ initiative to provide medical rehabilitation and treatment services to citizens free of charge, on the occasion of the Marriage of the Two Lights and the approaching Eid al-Adha.”

He explained that “the initiative aims to provide specialized medical care for men and women suffering from paralysis and mobility impairment. The treatment plan includes specialized physical exercises and stimulation using the combined electromagnetic fields device to ensure the best motor-function outcomes for patients.”

He added that “the services also include cases of disc and spinal conditions for both genders through special treatment sessions based on the latest advanced medical devices and structured physiotherapy programs,” noting that “the duration of the initiative extends from Saturday (9 to 21 May 2026).”

This step comes as part of a series of humanitarian initiatives adopted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to support Iraq’s healthcare sector and ease the burden on citizens.
