The Medical Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine continues to conduct its training program for female staff members in cooperation with Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital.
Course instructor Dr. Naji Al-Ussaili said that “the organization of the third training course dedicated to female nursing staff comes as a continuation of the program prepared to train medical and nursing personnel who will work at the Sayyid Jaafar Al-Hilli Center for Emergency Medical Services.”
He added that “the first day of the course included training on the principles and fundamentals of infection prevention within health centers and hospitals, the proper method of wearing protective equipment, as well as mechanisms for sorting medical waste.”
He explained that “the second day featured a training program on performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults, children, and infants, in addition to training on the use of automated defibrillator devices, with an emphasis on the importance of oxygenation during resuscitation procedures using airway devices.”
Al-Ussaili noted that “the course concluded with comprehensive assessments for the participating female nursing staff to evaluate their level of readiness and proficiency in applying the medical and nursing procedures covered during the training.”
