Dar al-Quran at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held a Quranic gathering for the servants of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) near the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), on the soil designated for the courtyard of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).
The head of the Quranic Media Center, Wissam Nadhir al-Delfi, told the official website that “Dar al-Quran at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine held a Quranic gathering for the servants of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) near the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), on the soil allocated for the courtyard of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).”
He explained that “the gathering featured the participation of the reciter and muezzin of the two holy shrines, Sayyid Mustafa al-Ghalibi, along with the reciter Sayyid Adam al-Hussaini and the reciter Sheikh Maytham al-Tammar. This was followed by an address delivered by the head of the Dar al-Qur’an Department, Sheikh Dr. Khair al-Din Ali al-Hadi.”
Al-Delfi added that “this gathering is the first of its kind to be held on the soil upon which the event of al-Taff took place in Karbala, according to the results of pedological studies conducted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine regarding the composition and structure of the soil layers in this blessed area.”
The gathering was attended by a number of servants of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and servants of the Holy Quran. The event received live coverage from Al-Qur’an Channel, part of the Karbala Satellite Channels Network, as well as the media of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
