Imam Hussain Shrine announced spending over (300) million IQD on humanitarian affairs during the last month

Imam Hussain Shrine administration announced spending over (300) million IQD on humanitarian affairs and treating people in the past month only, which included surgeries, treatment expenses, and financial donations for (260) cases.

In an interview with the official website, Ahmed Reda Al-Khafaji, General Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs at the Holy Shrine, said: "Under the direct guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, hundreds of humanitarian cases were received, through meeting the people inside the Shrine or via social media."

Al-Khafaji added that " all the treatment and surgeries, which included performing major and above-major surgeries, all of them were performed in Hospitals affiliated with Holy Shrine such as Imam Zain al-Abidin Specialized Hospital, Warth International Foundation for Oncology, Ahmed Al-Waeli Medical Foundation, and Safeer Al-Imam Al-Hussain
