Imam Hussain Shrine announced spending (63) billion IQD on the medical and health field

The Health and Medical Education Authority announced the financial support given by the health and medical organizations of the shrine, this came during a scientific workshop, attended by The representative of the supreme religious authority in the Imam Hussain Holy shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, and several officials in the shrine.

The head of the authority, Dr. Sattar Al-Saadi, said in an interview with the official website, that " the amount of financial support provided by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine is nearing (63) billion IQD.

Al-Saadi added, "we're trying to let people get the full treatment inside of Iraq, as it has become global compared with the modern standards. Pointing out that many medical aspects have grown, and reached their best, such as Hospital beds, which increased to (900) instead of (150), and medical devices reached (900%), whereas the medical staff in several majors have increased from (500 to 2500)

It is stated that the Imam Hussain Shrine, through its medical and health organizations and Hospitals, has provided many medical services (for free)
