"Sayyid Al-Awsiiyaa" city for pilgrims opened its gates to accommodate thousands of pilgrims during Arbaeen anniversary

The "Sayyid Al-Awsiiyaa" Modern City administration for pilgrims, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, located on the (Holy Karbala - Baghdad) road, announced providing various services to the pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of this year 1444 AH.

The city's director, Mudhaffar Muhammad, said in an interview with the official website, "(11) double-floors halls have been prepared to host the pilgrims, in an accommodation capacity of (200) people on each floor, and (1,000) pilgrims were hosted in the city's six hotel buildings"

He added, "(230,078) meals were prepared for the pilgrims from (13) to (20) Safar, in addition to over (39,552) pilgrim have slept at the citys' halls, as well as providing medical services for (93,775) patients during the Arbaeen pilgrimage"

It is stated that the Arbaeen pilgrimage is considered one of the most crowded anniversaries in the world, in the participation of millions of people, and the Holy Shrine tries its best, to provide all the needs and services.
