The director of the exhibition Muhammad Abdul Salam said in an interview with the official website, that "under the guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority of Imam Hussain Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the fair started With the participation of (63) Iraqi, Arabian, and other foreign publishing house and cultural foundation. the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine inaugurated the book fair as part of the 8th International "Taraateel Sajjadiya" fair.
Abdul Salam added that "the exhibition will last for (10) days with the participation of various countries, including (Lebanon, Iran, Tunisia, Kuwait, Morocco, and the host country Iraq) and more than 25 thousand various titles.
It is stated that the "Taraateel Sajjadiya fair" is held annually in honor of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Sajjad (PBUH)
