A delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain has visited the African country of Uganda to establish Warith al-Anibya Islamic Foundation.
The official delegation consisted of the administrator of religious schools, Sheikh Ali al-Qarawi, head of Quran Center, Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri, and director of Warith al-Anbiya Religious Institute, Sheikh Ali al-Ameli.
“Official licenses have been acquired from the Ugandan government to open a main office in addition to other branches around the country. Several departments of the Holy Shrine will work in the Foundation, which focuses on religious, cultural and educational care,” said Sheikh al-Qarawi.
The head of Quran Center Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri pointed out that this will be the first foundation sponsored by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in Africa.
Meanwhile, Sheikh al-Ameli added that the foundation would be a gateway to peaceful coexistence amongst all peoples.
