Educating children on the Holy Quran helps to build a conscious generation committed to religion, and helps them to recognize the teachings of Islam at an early stage of their lives making the Holy Quran the approach of their lives when they grow up. The Holy Quran is the spring of souls, its recitation make the soul flowers bloom spreading the beautiful perfume of the words of God Almighty. Therefore, in order to root the Quran in the souls of future youth and amid great presence and interaction, the summer courses for the recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran continue for more than eighteen thousand students in different places in several provinces of the country.
The Institute of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas Holy Shrine organizes these courses.
Two thousand of these students are having their lessons in form of faith circles named after the Holy Prophet and Ahl al-Bayt in the holy courtyard. These courses include a series of Islamic educational lessons to recite the Holy Quran, learning jurisprudence and belief by specialized professors for three hours a day for forty-five days. Institute Director Sheikh Jawad Nasrawi said: "What has been achieved in this record time is something that makes us feel great happiness and pride, because we have been able -all praise to God- to teach more than (18000) students lessons that will give them integrity and guidance in the coming age.”
