Furdosi University in Iran received Iraqi female students from Kerbela University based on a contest of the exemplary female student; the student who always maintains good hijab (woman’s Islamic clothing), and who is high achieving in their academic studies.
The contest was run by the Woman’s Media Unit of Imam Hussein Shrine through which ten students were chosen.
The students were also taken to other universities and laboratories, where they took part in some workshops in terms of cross-fertilizing ideas and exchanging experiences with Iranian female students. In addition, the students were taken on a pilgrimage to Imam Er-R-dha Shrine and other shrines.
