Kerbela Center for Researches and Studies has stated that Iraqi high-school graduates with a grade point average of %85 can now study Medicine in Behshti International University in Iran.
The center mentioned that the university meets with the international educational standards; therefore:
- to study Medicine in Persian - for 7 years - costs $5400 for each year; and it requires a grade point average of %85.
- to study Medicine in English - for 6 years - costs $5700 for each year; it requires a grade point average of %83.
- to study Pharmacy in English - for 5 years - costs $5400 for each year; it requires a grade point average of %83.
- to study Phisical Thearapy in Persian - for 4 years - costs $2000 for each year; it requires a grade point average of %80.
- to study other medical majors - for 4 years - costs $2000 for each year; it requires a grade point average of %80.
In addition to the annual fee, accommodation costs $2500 for each year, $1500 has to be paid - for the first year - for the services of following up with the student's affairs; and $1000 for the each of the following years, and $90 for health insurance. Moreover, the student takes care of food and transportation.
The center also said that students can consult the center for registration, bringing 2 copies of the high school diploma: one In Arabic and another in English, 2 copies of the certificate of graduation; one in Arabic and another in English, identification, a copy of the passport valid for at least a year, a resume, a recommendation from the university, and a record of academic activities.
It is worth mentioning that the center has already sent 50 Iraqi students to Tehran International University.
