Facilitation for displaced families to return home

After recapturing the IS-held territories, Imam Hussein Shrine has stated that it has prepared trucks for the displaced families who are willing to return home.

Fahim Ibrahim, director of Religious Teaching and Information, said that it is a humanitarian initiative Imam Hussein Shrine is taking by helping the displaced families to return home and practice their normal life.

He added that 5000 families consented to return home, especially families from Tal Afer.

Thousands of displaced families found the holy city of Kerbela and other Southern Iraqi cities the best shelter, especially Kerbela, which has hosted tens of thousands of displaced families who came from North and West Iraq.
