The activities of the Second Cultural Week held by Imam Hussein Shrine in Lebanon have begun on Saturday 9, 9, 2017.
The Cultural Week held in Tyre City titled: “Husseinian Scent Emanates from Southern Lebanon” has been attended by a great number of people. The activities will continue until the 14th of September 2017.
The activities started with a lecture delivered by sheikh Ali El-Qerawi, representative of Imam Hussein Shrine, in which he mentioned some of the prominent achievements of Imam Hussein Shrine, and the importance of Muslims’ solidarity the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority calls for.
A number of poets delivered poems in the inaugural ceremony, in addition to holding a book fair in which the publications of Imam Hussein Shrine were displayed.
