After liberating tens of towns, within 40 km, to the west of Mosul City, Iraq, Et-Tufoof Brigade – part of the popular mobilization forces – of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has announced taking full control of a new territory, which is right on the Iraqi-Syrian border in order to prevent ISIS from coming into Iraq.
Qasim Muslih, brigade commander, said that the brigade gained a lot of victories, and therefore, the brigade has been considered one of the powerful military forces.
Muslih added that the brigade blocked ISIS' way, so they are no more able to come into Iraq to support or supply their terrorist militants.
