Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e, representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, reconfirmed reviving the cultural and intellectual movement to combat sectarianism, during a visit made by a delegation from the Messengers of Love and Peace Organization.
The organization, which consists of academicians, clerics, sociologists, and other figures from the Iraqi society, came to maintain the message of love and peace among people, and to maintain the concept of peaceful co-existence.
El-Kerbela’e also said that sectarianism is no more involving some people’s ideology, but it is involving some territorial and international interests.
