Husseinian Ritual Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has announced that more than 300 groups have been registered to offer free services to the pilgrims coming on the anniversary of the blessed birth of the Awaited Imam Mohammed “El-Mehdi” (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance), which is commemorated on the 15th of Sha’ban month.
El-Mehdi is the twelfth Imam of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace be Upon Them) whose birth is annually commemorated by Shia Muslims.
Ryadh Ne’ma Selman, director of the department, has said that he is expecting more than 900 free-service-offering groups to register the next couple of days.
