The head of the Islamic Cultural Center in Indonesia Abdul-Mejeed Elahi met up with the custodian of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e.
During the meeting, they discussed the matters of holding courses on teaching Quran in Indonesia. Elahi expressed his admiration in the Quran House of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and its efforts in teaching Quran in many different and remote places, including islands, in Indonesia.
Indonesia is the world’s Muslim-majority country, it has 230 million Muslims, which equals 13% of the whole number of Muslims the world over.
El-Kerbela’e commended the Quran House for the success they achieved in teaching Indonesian people Quran and the means of memorizing it.
