A group of Iraqi doctors, who live in different countries around the world, visited Iraq for offering medical assistance to the orphans and wounded paramilitaries in Samarra City.
The doctors met up with Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e, representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority. During the visit, El-Kerbela’e said:
At the same time we extend our gratitude and appreciation to you for assisting the orphans and wounded paramilitaries, we would like to tell you that you have personified the spirit of Islam, which is based on showing mercy to one another, through your humanitarian work.
We would like you to continue showing mercy and kindness to the societies you live in, with your persevering spirit, as you have demonstrated here, added El-Kerbela’e.
