Getting wounded for the fourth time in the war against ISIS in Es-Seqlaweya District – Western Iraq, Kereem El-Hisnawi, commander of Malik El-Eshter Paramilitary Battalion arrived in the holy city of Kerbala after he had been abroad for medical treatment.
It has been the fourth time ISIS have been attempting to target El-Hisnawi. During a fire confrontation between the paramilitaries and ISIS, El-Hisnawi was shot in his forehead; the bullet crushed part of the bone of his forehead, and damaged arteries and blood vessels right above his eye.
When he arrived in Kerbala, he first made pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) among hundreds of people wholeheartedly welcoming him.
