The representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority, his Eminence sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'e met with a Canadian delegation at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
During the meeting, his Eminence asked the delegation to tell the Canadian people about the morals and generosity of the Iraqi people, they experienced during the Arba'een pilgrimage. He also said, “We are the followers of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them) and we like living with everyone, such as Christian people, Mandaean people, and any other people who are subscribed to different religions”.
The Martyr and Injured Family Care Division of the imam Hussein Holy Shrine received a 45-member delegation who were from India, Pakistan, Egypt, Afghanistan, and Canada. The delegation came in order to acquaint themselves with the works of the division in terms of supporting the families who lost their beloved ones.
