Imam Zainul-Abedeen Hospital of Imam Hussain Shrine continues performing free minor and major surgeries for its patients.
Majid Abdul-Hussain – hospital director – said to Imam Hussain Website that the hospital performed a great number of major and difficult surgeries, confirming that the hospital is self supporting and its staff members are highly experienced.
Abdul-Hussain added that some difficult surgeries the hospital performed were not performed by any hospital all over Iraq.
The initiative of performing free surgeries for people was launched two months ago, and through such a project, Imam Hussain Shrine seeks to ensure people a better life.
