Coinciding with the anniversary of the birthdays of Imam Hussein and his brother El-Abbas (Peace Be Upon Them), the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the El-Abbas Holy Shrine have begun to prepare for holding the International Book Fair which is within the activities of the 12th International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Conference, determined to begin on the 3rd of Sha’ban month - May 10, 2016. A 3250 square meter area, within the area between the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, has been designated for holding the book fair in. There have been 300 requests sent by publishing houses from Britain, Italy, Canada, and some other Arab countries to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine to participate in the fair, and 180 of them have been approved of yet.
