Black signs carried and banners waved and stores closed all over Kerbala’s streets, mourning the anniversary tragic death of Lady Zaineb, daughter of Imam Ali son of Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Them). A tremendous number of mourners, led by a symbolic funeral of Lady Zaineb (Peace Be Upon Her), proceeded towards the El-Abbas Holy Shrine, expressing such a heartfelt remembrance.Women largely took part in this commemoration and held lectures about the blessed life of Lady Zaineb and about her tragic story until death.
